We are based at the Pembroke Campus, originally a Royal Naval shore which first opened in 1903 and has more recently been renovated into a 21st<\/sup>-century study space. Just a short walk away, you\u2019ll find Chatham Dockyard<\/a> where Horatio Nelson joined his first ship, and nearby Rochester, a favourite haunt of Charles Dickens. Quaint and historic buildings like Rochester Castle and Cathedral abound, which plays host to world famous events such as The Dickens Festival and Sweeps Festival.<\/p>\n4.
