Professor of Small Business and Entrepreneurship at Kent Business School, George Saridakis has been appointed Associate Editor of JBR and Senior Editor of ITP

JBR (Journal of Business Research) applies theory developed from business research to actual business situations. Recognising the intricate relationships between the many areas of business activity, JBR examines a wide variety of business decisions, processes and activities within the actual business setting.

George will also be on the editorial board of ITP (Information Technology & People) which publishes work that is dedicated to understanding the implications of information technology as a tool, resource and format for people in society as much as in their daily work in organisations.

George Saridakis is delighted to be taking on these new editorial board appointments alongside other members. He is naturally excited about the new role:

“I am honoured to have recently joined the prestigious editorial boards of two world leading academic journals; the Journal of Business Research as an Associate Editor and the Information Technology & People as a Senior Editor.”

“I am fully committed to working closely with the Editors-in Chiefs and the members of the Editorial Board to even further enhance the remarkable reputation of these journals, which are established worldwide in the fields of Management and Business.”

“They are two must-read journals for anyone who would like to keep up with theoretical and empirical developments and findings, and current policy agenda.”

“I am also delighted that my new editorial board appointments find me as Head of the Department of Marketing, Entrepreneurship and International Business (MEIB) – A growing department with a strong commitment to delivering cutting edge research and excellent teaching experience.”

George Saridakis joined Kent Business School (KBS) in December 2017 as a Professor of Small Business and Entrepreneurship. At the time of his appointment, he acted as a Director of the (previously known as a) Centre for Employment, Competitiveness and Growth.
