What are the roles?


  1. Finance

There are 3 positions within the finance team that you might go into…

Financial planning and analysis – Looking closely at how the business generates its profits

Fund Accounting – Managing client money and checking that the Net Asset Value is correct

Fund Accounting (Private Debt) – Managing the underlying portfolio of assets and assisting with cash management


Am I right for this role?

– Ideally you will be studying for a degree in accounting, business, finance, economics, management or maths

– You must have strong excel and powerpoint skills


  1. PMO (Project Management Office & Projects)

– The Project Management Office oversees all changes in the business, such as new performance systems or infrastructure upgrade work

– You could also be working on as many as 50 projects at a time, touching all areas of the business


Am I right for this role?

– You can be from any degree background, with a preference for economics and business

– You must be confident with Excel and have great time management skills


  1. Client Data Intern

– The Client Data Intern will help with the strategy and operations of business development

– You will be helping to put together and execute a coherent sales plan

– You will also be ensuring that the sales team have the tools they need to execute this plan


Am I right for this role?

– You can be from any degree background and you must be confident working with lots of data

– You must be comfortable with excel, pivot tables, formulae and data models


  1. Sales

– The sales intern will work alongside BlueBay’s sales team to assist in the selling of financial products to customers in the European Market

– You will be supporting the sales team through data reconciliation, organising materials for clients and sitting in on sales calls to hear how investment decisions are made


Am I right for this role?

– You must have a degree in business, management, finance, economics or mathematics

– Fluency in French, Spanish, Italian or German is necessary (preference of French & Italian)

– You will need to be flexible and willing to work with clients and colleagues from around the world
