This post explains what you need to do with publications resulting from projects funded by RCUK, now UKRI<\/p>\n
If you have received from one the members of Research Councils UK (RCUK), now known as UK Research and Innovation<\/a> (UKRI), you need to make sure that details of your publications are in the Kent Academic Repository <\/a>and ResearchFish.<\/p>\n A requirement of UKRI funding<\/a> is that peer reviewed journal articles and conference proceedings are made Open Access <\/a>via the Gold route or the Green route<\/a>. On behalf of the University, we (the Information Services Research Support Team in the library) have\u00a0to report to UKRI each year on Open Access for the projects UKRI have funded.<\/p>\n Peer-reviewed journal articles and conference proceedings which:<\/p>\n You need to do this by 2 May 2018.<\/strong>\u00a0This gives us\u00a0time to compile the report before the deadline.<\/p>\n We will be contacting all principal investigators who have received UKRI funds shortly.<\/p>\n Please enter details of all UKRI funded peer review articles and conference proceedings in KAR by May.<\/p>\n You can use our Assisted Deposit Service<\/a> to send us your manuscripts and we will add them to KAR for you.<\/p>\n If you have any questions, please email researchsupport@kent.ac.uk<\/a>Why you need to do this<\/h2>\n
