The <\/span>Dictionary <\/span>of <\/span>Old <\/span>English<\/span><\/em> is <\/span>an <\/span>in-<\/span>depth <\/span>online <\/span>resource <\/span>that <\/span>covers at least one copy of <\/span>the <\/span>earliest <\/span>stages <\/span>of <\/span>the <\/span>English <\/span>language\u2014<\/span>from <\/span>around <\/span>600 <\/span>to <\/span>1150 <\/span>CE. <\/span>It <\/span>acts <\/span>as <\/span>a <\/span>historical <\/span>dictionary, <\/span>a <\/span>bilingual <\/span>reference <\/span>tool, <\/span>and <\/span>a <\/span>comprehensive <\/span>record <\/span>of <\/span>Old <\/span>English <\/span>vocabulary. <\/span>This <\/span>edition <\/span>includes <\/span>words <\/span>starting <\/span>with \u201c<\/span>la,\u201d \u201c<\/span>l\u00e6,\u201d <\/span>and \u201c<\/span>le,\u201d <\/span>along <\/span>with <\/span>updated <\/span>entries <\/span>from <\/span>earlier <\/span>volumes.<\/span><\/p>\n
