To carry out this work, the project team will need to access the lights via the floor above in Block A, Floor 3\u00a0<strong>(A|3)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Timings &amp; Duration:<\/strong> The work will take place overnight or early morning, starting on Mon 2 Dec, and is expected to last for one week.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Limited access<\/strong>: Some sections of A|3 will be closed off while the work is carried out. If significant disruption occurs, we may close A|3 entirely for the duration of the project.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Noise and disruption<\/strong>: The work will be noisy, and the sound may carry down into A|2 during these times.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Where Else Can You Study?<\/h3>\n<p>If you\u2019re looking for alternative silent spaces,, here are some alternative silent study areas:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>B|3 (Silent Study)<\/strong>: A dedicated silent study area with individual desks, perfect for focused work.<\/li>\n<li><strong>D|3 (Silent Study)<\/strong>: Another quiet zone offering a silent environment and individual seating options.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You can also<strong>\u00a0browse all available study spaces\u00a0<\/strong>across the Library and campus on our\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/student.kent.ac.uk\/studies\/library-it\/study-spaces\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\">Study Spaces webpage<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>Need help?<\/h3>\n<p>Thank you for your patience while we complete this essential maintenance.
