Disability, Livelihood and Employment: Resources for Disability History Month<\/h2>\n

Templeman Library Reading List<\/strong>: our DHM 2024 reading list<\/a>\u00a0has been created for those who want to feed their literary curiosity and discover new books and resources outside of their academic studies. We hope you enjoy them but if you feel something is missing then\u00a0let us know\u00a0and you can help add to this collection.<\/p>\n

Many of these resources are available to browse and borrow at Templeman Library\u00a0 \u2013 check out the display in the Library Caf\u00e9, from 15th November.<\/p>\n

Kent Students Union Curiosity Hub<\/span><\/h2>\n

Kent Union are launching a dedicated Disability History Month 2024<\/strong><\/a> web page with plenty of new content and resources made for students, by students! It features reflections from the Officer Team, interviews with Disabled staff and students, a fully-stocked events calendar and the return of the all-too-useful Curiosity Hub!<\/p>\n

The DHM Curiosity Hub<\/strong><\/a> is designed to display dozens of films, books, podcasts, celebrities<\/strong> and more – all hand-picked by staff and students at Kent, with each recommendation relating to Disability history and pride. There are even hand-out resources as well as links to the various schemes that are available to support Disabled students at Kent.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
