Open Access books as an opportunity not just a requirement<\/h2>\n
Open Access for research books is, and will be, a requirement for many funders by 2024, but digital OA publishing also brings many exciting opportunities<\/p>\n
\u201cPublishing open access means your book or chapter\u00a0<\/span><\/span>can be\u00a0<\/span><\/span>read, reviewed, shared, and cited without\u00a0<\/span><\/span>depending on readers buying it or libraries stocking it<\/span><\/span>.\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Open access therefore greatly\u00a0<\/span><\/span>increases the\u00a0<\/span><\/span>opportunities for your work to be read widely and to\u00a0<\/span><\/span>have an impact on the world<\/span><\/span>\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
