He wrote a number of works on architectural history and from 1988-1991 was Chair of the Society of Architectural Historians.<\/p>\n<p>The collection spans British and European architectural history and features titles on prominent architects, structures and buildings and architectural design and styles.<\/p>\n<h2>Architectural tour of Europe display<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/isnews\/files\/2023\/06\/andor-gomme-display-b2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-25922 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/isnews\/files\/2023\/06\/andor-gomme-display-b2.jpg\" alt=\"Andor Gomme Collection: book display area in Templeman Library showing display posters\" width=\"210\" height=\"280\" \/><\/a>Visit our book display in B2 to explore the Collection and take a grand tour of British and European architectural history. We also invite you to help build our own architectural map of Europe &#8211; share your favourite architectural structures and buildings in Europe and help celebrate the richness and diversity of architecural design and styles across the continent.<\/p>\n<p>Just use the post-it notes provided to add your recommended sites to our map of Europe \u2013 and feel free to let us know why these places are special to you.<\/p>\n<h2>Browse the collection digitally<\/h2>\n<p>To browse the collection, go to <a href=\"https:\/\/librarysearch.kent.ac.uk\/client\/en_GB\/kent\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">LibrarySearch<\/a>, enter <strong>Andor Gomme collection<\/strong> into the search box and click on Search.
