Use our Wi-Fi service \u2013 eduroam <\/strong>for the fastest and most reliable Wi-Fi connection when you\u2019re out and about on campus.<\/p>\n

\"Mobile<\/a>Don\u2019t use WiFi Guest or govroam<\/strong> which are for campus visitors \u2013 they\u2019re slower and more restrictive than eduroam. They’re only intended for casual use by a limited number of campus visitors – so you’ll either lose your connection, or it will slow to a crawl if you don’t switch to eduroam.<\/p>\n

\u2018Forget\u2019 \/ remove WiFi Guest<\/h1>\n

If you\u2019ve already used WiFi Guest to get eduroam working, you need to\u00a0\u2018forget\u2019 \/ remove WiFi Guest<\/a><\/strong> from your Wi-Fi settings. This will stop your device connecting to it automatically.<\/p>\n

Internet access in campus accommodation<\/h1>\n

For internet access in your campus accommodation to study, stream online content, or to get a TV or games console online, you can use the wired internet connection<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Try not to use non-essential wireless devices. University Wi-Fi is fast, but it\u2019s a shared service. If you use a lot of wireless technology, you\u2019ll slow down everyone\u2019s connection.<\/p>\n

Problems connecting to eduroam Wi-Fi?<\/h1>\n

If you\u2019re on campus and can\u2019t connect to eduroam Wi-Fi, try the options below.<\/p>\n

Try to get online by any other means on your device<\/strong><\/h2>\n

If you can get online \u2013 either by using alternative Wi-Fi from off campus, using mobile data, or by temporarily logging into WiFi Guest on campus* \u2013 you can download our setup tool which should fix any connection issues.<\/p>\n
