The digital resources directory <\/a><\/strong>is a complete list of more than 350 library databases we subscribe to on your behalf.<\/p>\n These databases also appear as search results in LibrarySearch<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n The directory also lists some free Open Access resources that are highly recommended by our librarians. It excludes most individual journal and e-book titles.<\/p>\n You can filter the list of resources by subject to see those that are best for your area of study or research.<\/p>\n You can also filter by resource type and by whether you need a Kent IT account or it’s Open Access, which we hope will be useful for visitors and alumni.<\/p>\n Each resource links to the provider’s accessibility statement and provides help with its use and other useful information.<\/p>\n While you can find the vast majority of our digital content in LibrarySearch, it can’t deep-search all of our e-resources. For example, if a particular film or TV program is available in BoB – On Demand TV and Radio<\/a>, it won’t show up in the LibrarySearch result – you have to search for it directly in BoB. So it’s good to know what these databases contain and which are best for your purpose.<\/p>\n In some cases, searching the database web interface directly can also be a better experience, for example because you have more options to refine your search.<\/p>\n We recommend that you start your search for resources in LibrarySearch, but then go to the databases for your subject to deepen your research.<\/p>\n We want to make sure the tool works for you.
