The material will be made available digitally in Moodle.<\/p>\n<p>All new Autumn 2024 scan requests will be created in an accessible electronic format.<\/p>\n<h2>What you need to do<\/h2>\n<p>You only need to <strong>request new scans<\/strong>. That\u2019s because scans in the most recent version of the module will be carried over automatically.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Use <a href=\"https:\/\/moodle.kent.ac.uk\/2024\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Moodle 2024<\/a> to request your scan.<\/li>\n<li>Allow 4-6 weeks for us to process your requests.<\/li>\n<li>Submit your requests <strong>as soon\u00a0as possible\u00a0<\/strong>if you need items for the start of term.<\/li>\n<li>Enter the \u2018<strong>Week required<\/strong>\u2019 on the scan form. That\u2019s the week your students need to read it.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>How much you can request<\/h2>\n<p>You can request 10% or a chapter (whichever is greater) from each source, per module, for example:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>a whole chapter from a book<\/li>\n<li>a whole article from a magazine\/journal issue<\/li>\n<li>a whole scene from a play<\/li>\n<li>a whole paper from a set of conference proceedings<\/li>\n<li>a whole report of a single case from a volume of judicial proceedings<\/li>\n<li>a short story, poem or play (not exceeding 10 pages in length) from an anthology<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Need help?<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/library\/teaching\/cla.html\">CLA scanning service page<\/a> gives details of how to request a book chapter or journal article in Moodle, contact details and further information.<\/li>\n<li>More information about the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/cla.co.uk\/sites\/default\/files\/CLA-HE-User-Guidelines.pdf\">CLA HE User Guidelines<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>If you\u2019re teaching in the Autumn term, it\u2019s time to submit your CLA scan requests.
