It will say the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>CAUTION: This email originated from outside the organisation. Do not click links or open attachments unless you recognise the sender and know the content is safe.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-18530\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/isnews\/files\/2021\/04\/prevent-name-spoofing3.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"984\" height=\"309\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>What you need to do<\/h2>\n<p>If you see this, please double-check that the sender is a trusted source before you respond or open any attachments.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Follow these tips for <a href=\"\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/guides\/email-safety#how-to-spot-a-fake-email\">how to spot a fake email<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We&#8217;re asking you to look out for fraud in both <strong>internal and external emails<\/strong>.\u00a0Remember the<strong> sender&#8217;s email can be fake<\/strong> and might appear to be from someone you know at Kent such as a student or staff member, or an organisation you interact with such as student finance.<\/p>\n<p>The message content may seem plausible at first, so you must treat unusual email requests and unexpected messages with suspicion.<\/p>\n<h2>Why it matters<\/h2>\n<p>Members of universities and public institutions are increasingly being targeted and receiving fraudulent and malicious emails that can be very convincing.
