To provide you with the resources you need to learn remotely we are running a scheme with digital textbook provider,\u00a0<\/span>Bibliu<\/span>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

They provide us with<\/span>\u00a0a number of essential textbooks required<\/span>\u00a0to complete your studies, allowing you to download onto your own devices without the access restrictions of typical Library e-books.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

As this is a pilot\u00a0<\/span>scheme,<\/span>\u00a0we have<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>only selected titles that are core texts on compulsory modules for undergraduates.<\/span>\u00a0We have worked<\/span>\u00a0closely<\/span>\u00a0with module convenor<\/span>s<\/span>\u00a0to<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>identify<\/span>\u00a0key textbooks<\/span>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

When will the books be available?<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Books are available now\u202fand you will have\u202faccess to your titles for the rest of the academic year.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

How do I get access?<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

You should be able to access these titles<\/span>\u00a0from via your\u00a0<\/span>online\u00a0<\/span>reading list and Moodle module.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What books will I get access to?<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The titles available on the scheme are those that<\/span>\u00a0have been selected by module convenors\u00a0<\/span>as<\/span>\u00a0being essential to your course and are not available as e-books already via our usual suppliers.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>You can use these<\/span>\u00a0textbooks\u00a0<\/span>alongside<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>other resources on your reading list<\/span>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

How can I use the\u00a0<\/span><\/b>BibliU<\/span><\/b>\u00a0platform?<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This\u202f<\/span>playlist of videos<\/span><\/a>\u202fprovides an overview of all the key aspects of using your\u00a0<\/span>BibliU<\/span>\u00a0textbooks.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I can\u2019t see any titles!<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Not every module has a\u00a0<\/span>Bibliu<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>title linked to it. Some\u00a0<\/span>module<\/span>s<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>already have e-books available or use other resources, including\u00a0<\/span>journal\u00a0<\/span>articles and digitised chapters, as well as print materials available in the Library.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Will I be able to download and print the textbooks?<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

You will be able to print within the copyright restrictions of each title, which is set by the publisher. You will also be able to highlight sections, save notes and download to your device.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
