The Drill Hall Library’s Quiet and Silent Zones have had a fresh new look over this summer. A new layout, updated shelving and a colourful modular furniture creates a vibrant environment for studying.
Most of the library’s study spaces are open as normal but we encourage all our users to wear a face covering if you are able to and be considerate of others as we are all getting back to normal at different speeds. For anyone who is not quite ready yet, we have kept both our mezzanine levels, located above the foyer and silent zone, as socially distanced study spaces.
We look forward to welcome all new and continuing students at the Medway Welcome Fair on 22nd September 2021. 11am – 3pm.
Meet our friendly team at the Beach-themed Hut outside the library building and pick up free Welcome Gifts by spinning the Wheel of Fortune; including free ice cream to enjoy under our bright yellow parasols and cheerful bunting. Get a spin for each follow on our social media channels.
All Freshers are invited to take part in the welcome activity to find all the key places in the library and find out about our services by trying our Self-Guided Tour.
