UK academics are invited to take part in a JISC national research project to understand why authors choose to publish textbooks and other resources.
JISC is an organisation providing digital solutions for UK education and research. This research is part of their Institution as e-textbook publisher project, developed in response to the unsustainable models and high price of e-textbooks. JISC is exploring alternative ways to create learning materials for students.
You are invited to share your views and experiences with JISC via an online survey.
The results of the research may further our understanding of how to support academics who want to share resources in order to provide the best possible learning experiences for their students.
- The survey takes 10-15 minutes to complete, and participants can choose to enter a prize draw for one of 3 £100 vouchers (Amazon or National Book Tokens – the winners can choose).
