Our older VPN service (FortiClient), which provides off-campus access to selected resources, has now been replaced with a new VPN called GlobalProtect, which we encourage you to download.
Install the new VPN for off campus access

- You’ll need the new VPN to access sharepoint.kent.ac.uk from off campus now
Why we’re changing our VPN
GlobalProtect allows us to enable Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) when you log into services. MFA adds an extra layer of security to your account, and is extremely effective in combatting online threats. We already use it when we access email, Staff Connect and other tools from off campus.
