The University of Kent is running part 2 of its Jisc Digital Experience Insights surveys for students, academic staff and professional services staff. By sharing your experiences, you can help us shape the future of your digital experience here at Kent.

A note on data protection:
This survey is being carried out by the University of Kent in conjunction with Jisc. Depending on your role at the University, we will ask you questions about your experiences of digital learning, use of digital tools, and the digital infrastructure. The data is used to help improve staff and students digital experience. Your participation in this questionnaire is voluntary and you can stop at any point without your responses being included in the dataset. Jisc will use anonymised aggregated data for analysis, public reports and presentations.   1. I use the computers at the library frequently to do my work and I’ve never had any problems! They are fast and effective, getting aiding me to have a productive study session

As a law student a lot of research is required and the single most important resource is the internet, the university also provides access to various online sources which otherwise would require expensive subscriptions. Also the laptops and printers are also very helpful as the give us access to better technology to those who cannot afford to buy it personally.

  3. I use the computers provided at the library to do my work, it really helps where people struggle to have laptops etc. the printers are also very helpful, with IT staff helping wherever it’s needed.

  4. The digital equipment is very good on campus. I use the printers a lot
