Our subscription to Lean Library is ending on 31 July 2024.
This service allowed users to download a browser extension that automatically linked articles or e-books to our subscriptions whereever you searched on the web.
However we have now set up a subscription to a new tool called LibKey Nomad that provides the same service with some added extras.
For users that have installed Lean Library on your browsers it will not link to our paid collections beyond the end of this month.
We encourage you to swap over tools or start using LibKey Nomad to get seamless access to articles and ebooks that we pay for.
To remove Lean Library browser extension
- Click on ‘Manage Extensions’ on your browser, this will vary according to browser, but it is usually on the top right toolbar.
- Find ‘Lean Library’ and select remove.
To add LibKey Nomad browser extension
- Go to the LibKey Nomad download page
- Choose your browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari, Brave and Vivaldi)
- Once installed, open LibKey from your browser and select University of Kent to link it to our collections and subscriptions.
