Finding e-journals

If you are searching for journal articles or material on a topic, just put your keywords into LibrarySearch and click View Online or View Content on the item you’re interested in.

But if you want to search for content in a particular journal, that’s also easy to do! Go to LibrarySearch and click Find e-journals below the main search box.

This takes you to a page where you can:

  • search for journal titles
  • browse journals by subject
  • or browse them alphabetically

If you search for a journal, for example “journal of business ethics”, it tells you which issues of the journals we have access to, under “Full Text Access”.

You can also search for articles, authors or keywords directly within the journal, using the search box below the journal title.

This service also includes many of our e-books.

If you normally search for journals using the journals web page on the library website, this will now take you to the same service.

If you see an Ebsco login screen

This service is provided by EbscoHost, and you may encounter an Ebsco login screen. If that happens, click the Shibboleth link, navigate to University of Kent, and log in.

If you find a broken link to a resource

You should have full-text access to everything you find through LibrarySearch or the e-journal finder. If you find that you can’t get to a resource, there’s a broken link, or you are asked to pay for access, let us know:
