The 27th of March is World Theatre Day. Whilst you may not be able to go to the theatre in person the Library has access to a range of online performances through our collections:

Peter Pan recorded at the La Mirada Theatre California in 2020 with former Olympic gymnast Cathy Rigby playing Peter Pan.
The Railway Children the Olivier award-winning adaptation from York Theatre Royal featuring the original locomotive from the 1970’s film.
Arthur Miller’s The Crucible starring Richard Armitage live at London’s Old Vic
Mendelssohn’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream performed by the London Symphony Orchestra
Matthew Bourne’s The Car Man recorded by Sky Arts at Sadler’s Wells in 2015,
