Architecture Highlights: new module book shelving area

School of Architecture, Design and Planning module shelving and seating area

What’s new!

We have created and will be piloting a new shelving area in the Templeman Library on Floor 2 in Block B. The Architecture Highlights module shelf pilot will focus on three undergraduate modules in Kent’s School of Architecture, Design and Planning:

  • ARCH3240: Ancient and Medieval Architecture
  • ARCH5410: Collective Dwelling
  • ARCH5510: Nineteenth Century Architecture

Aims and benefits

The module books and journals are located on a separate area of shelving in B2 close to the main Architecture Collection. There will be at least two copies of core / recommended titles, with one always available to reference within the building.

The pilot aims to improve access to module readings and increase student awareness and use of academic, peer-reviewed resources for module research and assignments.

We hope you enjoy exploring this new area! 📖✨
