Document delivery is a service that allows you to get hold of books, articles, theses and other document items that the University does not have in any of its library collections.

We’re currently trialling a new service to get e-journal articles and ebook chapters for items we do not hold in our library collections.  Initially open to all academic and postgraduate students, RapidILL is a fast and cost-effective document delivery service to request online journal articles and ebook chapters.

How to access this service:

From the LibrarySearch homepage, select the Document Delivery Request link under the main search box and select Make your Document Delivery Request.

On the request page, select either RapidIILL book chapter or RapidILL journal article.

We will then process your request using the new RapidILL service and you will receive your item via your university email. The majority of requests should be met within 24 hours of the request being placed.

Feedback

We need your feedback on this trial to see whether we should roll out the service more widely. Please email your comments to libraryhelp@kent.ac.uk
