What is changing
Microsoft has announced that Delve will be retired on 16 December 2024. This means you won’t be able to access Delve’s web features after this date.
As a result of this change, it will no longer be possible to update office locations or phone numbers on the contact cards in Delve. As a result, this information should be considered out of date and potentially unreliable.
Alternatives to Delve
Despite Delve retiring, many of its features are already integrated into Microsoft 365. Together with other online resources, this should help you continue working without disruption:
- Use Microsoft People Search: https://www.microsoft365.com/search/people
- Contact Information: You can contact colleagues directly via Microsoft Teams to find out their location or phone number, or view their staff profile on the University website if they have one.
- Document Search: Use SharePoint or OneDrive to search for and access documents.
- Colleague Search: Search for colleagues using the search features in Microsoft Teams or Outlook.
