Their article titled \u201cSensing-based monitoring systems for electric vehicle battery \u2013 A review\u201d has received significant attention from the research community after its publication in June, 2025. <img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-51 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/ipc\/files\/2026\/01\/1-s2.0-S295034502500017X-ga1_lrg.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"484\" height=\"271\" \/>The article provides a comprehensive review of state-of-the-art sensing technologies for monitoring the state of charge (SOC), state of health (SOH), temperature, and mechanical stress in lithium-ion batteries. It critically examines conventional electrical and thermal sensing methods alongside emerging non-invasive techniques, highlighting their advantages, limitations, and suitability for real-time battery management systems.
