Why did you choose to study at the University of Kent?<\/strong><\/p>\n I chose to study at the University of Kent because I was looking for a university with a campus near London and heard that Kent hires experienced lecturers with industry experience to teach Actuarial Science. I also decided to come to Kent because I was awarded the Academic Excellence Scholarship<\/a>.<\/p>\n What is the best thing about studying in the School of Mathematics, Statistics and Actuarial Science?<\/strong><\/p>\n The best thing about studying in the School is having challenging questions and problems to solve.<\/p>\n What has been your favourite topic\/module on your course?<\/strong><\/p>\n Business Economics has been my favourite topic so far.<\/p>\n What have you found most interesting on your course?<\/strong><\/p>\n I have found the presentation for the statistics module in my first year one of the most interesting parts of my course so far. We were given a lot of data and were asked to come out with our own topic and research it.<\/p>\n I also really love the connection between my course and the real world \/ the application of what I have learnt in the real world.<\/p>\n Have you found the School to be supportive? If so, how has the School supported you?<\/strong><\/p>\n Yes! The lecturers are very supportive and friendly.
