The University of Kent is continuing to strengthen its links with Bahrain, Qatar and India following highly successful delegation visits this February.<\/p>\n

During their visit, staff of the University of Kent traveled to various universities and schools across all three nations including the University of Bahrain, Royal University of Women (Bahrain), Amity University (India), Jindal Global University (India) and Doha Academy (Qatar). As well as meeting with colleagues, members of the delegation were able to deliver seminars and sessions with groups of students,\u00a0including an\u00a0Academic Skills class delivered by Dean for Internationalisation to students of Jindal Global University.<\/p>\n

In addition to the institutional visits, the Kent delegation held three Alumni Engagement events providing opportunity for them to meet with members of Kent\u2019s alumni, prospective students, institutional collaborators and friends.<\/p>\n

Dr. Anthony Manning<\/a>\u00a0said:\u00a0“As part of our Internationalisation Strategy, the University of Kent has a strong commitment\u00a0to further develop and enhance partnerships and networks in the wider international world.\u00a0We are thankful to the institutional teams who welcomed us, for the useful discussions and\u00a0exchange of ideas, as well as the great opportunity to meet with students, collaborators, alumni and friends across this region”<\/p>\n

Other members of the delegation visiting were: Fiona Jones<\/a>, Primrose Paskins<\/a>, Carla Morris<\/a>, Eleri Caruana<\/a>, Stella Bolaki<\/a> and Rebecca Hobbs<\/a>.<\/p>\n
