Key staff at our partner universities across the\u00a0world\u00a0have been invited to attend the event, which will provide an invaluable opportunity to network, develop relationships\u00a0and foster debate across a wide range of topics.<\/p>\n<p>The University of\u00a0Kent is committed to driving forward\u00a0a range of global partnership activity. This\u00a0event\u00a0is one of a growing number of\u00a0activities undertaken by the new\u00a0International Partnerships Directorate to raise the University&#8217;s profile internationally\u00a0through\u00a0deeper interaction with overseas partners.<\/p>\n<p>The theme of the week\u00a0is <em><strong>&#8216;Managing international communications in an increasingly interconnected world&#8217; <\/strong><\/em>and the programme will\u00a0focus on the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Working with international press\/media<\/li>\n<li>Crisis management; how does your institution approach international incidents?<\/li>\n<li>Intercultural communication workshop<\/li>\n<li>Managing the perception and response to students&#8217; behaviour<\/li>\n<li>Using Social Media<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>International Partnerships and Corporate Communications will\u00a0work together in delivering\u00a0the workshops.
