I chose this programme because I was eager to develop a strong foundation in business management, strategy, and leadership, and KBS’s reputation for academic excellence and practical learning really appealed to me. Throughout my studies, I had the opportunity to engage with a diverse range of subjects and real-world projects that deepened my understanding of how businesses operate in a global context.

I’m proud to have graduated with First Class Honours, which reflects not only my academic dedication but also the support and encouragement I received from my lecturers and peers. My time at KBS has equipped me with valuable analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills that I look forward to applying in my future career.

You are now studying for the MSc in International Business and Management at Kent’s Canterbury campus. How are you finding your course?

I’m really enjoying my postgraduate course at Kent so far. The transition from undergraduate to postgraduate study has been both challenging and rewarding. The modules are intellectually stimulating and encourage a deeper level of critical thinking and independent research. I particularly appreciate how the course combines theory with practical application, allowing me to build on the knowledge I gained during my undergraduate studies.

The academic support and sense of community at Kent have also made a big difference — lecturers are approachable, and discussions with classmates from diverse backgrounds have broadened my perspectives. Overall, it’s been a fulfilling experience that’s helping me grow both academically and professionally.

What are you enjoying the most about studying at Kent?

One of my favourite aspects of studying at Kent is the supportive and inclusive learning environment. The lecturers are not only knowledgeable but also genuinely committed to helping students achieve their best. I really enjoy the interactive teaching style — seminars, group projects, and case studies make the learning experience engaging and closely connected to real-world business challenges.

I also appreciate the diversity on campus. Studying alongside people from different cultural and professional backgrounds has broadened my perspective and made discussions much more insightful. In addition, the sports facilities at Kent are excellent, providing a great balance between academic life and wellbeing. Whether it’s going to the gym, joining a sports club, or just taking time to stay active, it’s a fantastic way to relax and connect with others.

Finally, the beautiful campus and welcoming atmosphere make Kent a truly inspiring place to study and grow both personally and professionally.

How are you finding life on campus and in UK so far?

Life in the UK has been a wonderful experience so far. It’s a vibrant, diverse, and welcoming place that offers so many opportunities to learn and grow both academically and personally. The University of Kent has provided a great balance between academic challenge and student life. I really appreciate the friendly community, supportive staff, and the beautiful campus environment. Adjusting to a new country can be daunting at first, but Kent makes it easy to feel at home.

Have you joined any university societies or groups?

Yes, I’ve joined a few societies that have really enriched my experience at Kent. I’m currently the Social Media Officer for the Kent Union Economics Society (2025–26), which has been an exciting opportunity to combine my interest in business and communication. This role allows me to engage with students, promote events, and help strengthen the society’s online presence.

Being part of a society has not only helped me develop valuable teamwork and leadership skills but has also allowed me to meet like-minded people and be more involved in the vibrant student community at Kent. I’ve also enjoyed taking part in sports and other social activities, which provide a great balance between studies and campus life.

Could you share your plans for after your course?

After completing my postgraduate degree, I plan to pursue a career in business and management, focusing on areas such as strategic development and leadership. My goal is to apply the knowledge and skills I’ve gained at Kent in a professional setting and contribute to meaningful projects that create real impact. In the long term, I hope to take on a leadership role where I can inspire others and continue learning and growing in the business world.

What would you say to students currently studying Kent’s BA (Hons) Business Top Up with Beaconhouse International College?

I would strongly encourage Beaconhouse students to consider studying in the UK — it’s an incredible opportunity for both academic and personal growth.
