The partnership with NSU, Bangladesh\u2019s first private higher education institution, developed through research connections with Kent\u2019s School of Economics. The partnership will focus on collaboration with Kent\u2019s new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/courses\/postgraduate\/2207\/development-economics\">MSc in Development Economics<\/a> but will also bring wider opportunities for staff exchange and joint academic activity.<\/p>\n<p>In a joint online signing ceremony, Professor Atiqul Islam, Vice-Chancellor of NSU, welcomed the development of institutional links, stating that they will bring great benefits to students and staff; words echoed by Professor Karen Cox, Kent\u2019s Vice-Chancellor, in a video message.<\/p>\n<p>The memorandum of understanding marks Kent\u2019s first formal partnership in Bangladesh.<\/p>\n<p>For further information about this partnership and Kent\u2019s other international institutional agreements, please contact Primrose Paskins (<a href=\"mailto:P.M.A.Paskins@kent.ac.uk\">P.M.A.Paskins@kent.ac.uk<\/a>) in International Partnerships.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The University of Kent has signed a memorandum of understanding with North South University (NSU), Bangladesh.
