This agreement has been the framework for partnership activities in staff and student exchange, Erasmus Mundus, co-supervision of research, joint research and the exchange of knowledge and best practice between staff in professional services.<\/p>\n<p>In order to stimulate further Kent-Ghent cooperation, in continuation of the call in 2013 and 2014, a third joint call for proposals is launched for 2015.<\/p>\n<p>This call aims to support joint Kent-Ghent projects by funding mobility between colleagues at the two institutions (for example short-term staff\/student exchange, seminars, workshops, preparatory meetings to establish longer-term collaboration such as double degrees, joint research projects).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Eligible period of activity <\/strong><br \/>\nThe funding will be available for activities carried out by <strong>15th December 2015. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Funding available <\/strong><br \/>\nMaximum funding available per project: <strong>\u00a31,000<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Selection criteria<\/strong><br \/>\nCriteria for selection include: the feasibility of the goals, the reach and dissemination of the activities and the durable character of the initiative. Projects that reapply but must demonstrate the added value of a second application.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application procedure <\/strong><br \/>\nA project proposal (one common Kent and Ghent version, length: max. 1.5 page) should contain the following items:<\/p>\n<p><strong>1. Title <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Description of the cooperation <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Objectives (short-\/medium- term)<\/li>\n<li>Names and contact details of Ghent and Kent staff involved<\/li>\n<li>Previous cooperation<\/li>\n<li>Planned activities for 2014<\/li>\n<li>Timing of planned activities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>3.
