On Wednesday 17 January Kent was delighted to welcome Professor Shaliza Ibrahim, Associate Vice Chancellor (Research and Innovation) of the University of Malaya (UM), Malaysia’s premier research intensive institution. The purpose of the visit was to meet with the Centre for Philanthropy and Research Services to discuss specific areas of collaboration between our two institutions. Kent and UM have a number of strong research connections across the faculties and are currently in the process of establishing jointly supervised PhD programmes.
The visit coincided with the University’s annual Internationalisation Forum and we were delighted that Professor Ibrahim could say a few words about the developing relationship between UM and Kent.
