Kent 2030
Kent 2030 is a plan to reimagine our University for the years ahead, adding more flexibility into how students study through a new academic year structure, building closer links with industry and changing our course portfolio to grow in areas of strength. The plan ensures that the courses we offer match what future students are looking to study, which means making changes in some areas so we can support investment. This includes key priority areas such as Business, Law and Biosciences where we will be investing in facilities and staff capacity to support growing number of students in the future. This means we intend to phase out recruitment for some courses, while those enrolled are able to finish their university experience as expected. The majority of subject areas will be unaffected by this. We will contact our partners directly if your students are affected by any of these course changes. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact the Study Abroad team: studyabroad@kent.ac.uk
Improved Timetabling & Academic Year changes
Work is underway to improve timetabling and make changes to the academic year. We will keep our partners updated throughout the coming year with regards the impact of changes on short-term study / exchange programmes. We will be sending further specific communications to partners in due course and will be happy to answer any queries you may have.
