The University of Kent’s International Partnerships team is planning a short series of workshops and discussions with our international partners over two days in May 2021. The online event will focus on how international partnerships in higher education have evolved and need to continue to do so in order to meet the challenges of a post-Brexit and post-Covid landscape.
International Partnerships in Tomorrow’s World will take place on 25th and 26th May 2021.
Over two days, participants will have the opportunity to:
-
Receive updates on key developments at Kent, including the latest information on the UK’s Turing mobility scheme;
-
Consider together how to best support international exchange;
-
Participate in discussions on what we have learnt from supporting students through international crises;
-
Attend workshops focused on pertinent issues relating to the evolution of our partnerships e.g. virtual exchange, green mobility and digital learning.
-
Experience Kent – enjoy some cultural highlights!
We want to hear from our partners! The two day event will be interactive with plenty of discussion. Partners will be invited to submit a case study proposal on either supporting students through international crises or approaches to internationalisation in a changing world.
The full programme for the event will be published by mid-April; there will be approximately four sessions on each day with breaks in-between. We will begin at 10am GMT on both days. We hope that partners will be able to attend all sessions but they are also welcome to attend individual sessions.
Partners are invited to register for the event using this link
