Students at Kent’s Brussels School of International Studies (BSIS) have the opportunity to study in Beijing for either one or two terms following the extension of the ‘Two Capitals’ exchange arrangement with China Foreign Affairs University (CFAU).
CFAU, which is jointly administrated by the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Chinese Ministry of Education, is known as a training ground for senior diplomats, and is classed as a ‘Double First Class Discipline University’ by the Chinese Government.
The opportunity to study at CFAU is open to students registered on range of master’s degrees at BSIS; the two term exchange option has the added benefit of allowing BSIS students to study towards an additional award from CFAU.
Professor Jeremy Carrette, Dean for Europe, welcomes the deepening of Kent’s partnership with CFAU:

The extension to the partnership with CFAU was marked by the visit of Prof Sun Jisheng, Vice-President of CFAU to BSIS. The visit forms part of the recently launched Kent Global Showcase. The first edition of the Showcase focused on Kent’s links with Asia, and saw a range of activities developing and celebrating Kent’s engagement with the region.
