Partnership with Beaconhouse International College in Pakistan opens up opportunities for students

A testimonial from Syed Hamza Samad, MSc student in Financial Management at Kent

Students can now study the University of Kent’s BA (Hons) Business Top-Up from the ‘Triple Accredited’ Kent Business School via Beaconhouse International College in Pakistan. We meet Syed Hamza Samad who shares his experience of graduating from Kent after studying the course fully in Pakistan and then progressing to study for a Master’s degree in Financial Management at Kent’s campus in Canterbury.

My journey to Kent Business School (KBS) began with a strong interest in business and a desire to study in an international environment. I chose to study with KBS via Beaconhouse International College in Pakistan because of the excellent reputation of both institutions, supportive staff, and diverse community. Studying BA (Hons) Business has helped me build a solid understanding of business skills and opened many opportunities for my future.

So far, I am enjoying my postgraduate course at Kent’s Canterbury campus in the UK. The classes are interesting, and the lecturers explain things clearly. The workload can be challenging at times, but I am learning a lot and feel supported by my tutors and classmates.

I enjoy the modern learning facilities, friendly environment, and helpful staff. I also like meeting students from different countries and sharing ideas. The campus is peaceful, which helps me focus on my studies.

Life in the UK has been exciting and full of new experiences. The University of Kent feels welcoming and safe. I am getting used to the culture, weather, and daily life here. Overall, I feel comfortable and happy studying at Kent.
