Kent signs new Memorandum of Understanding with Northwestern Polytechnical University, China

Kent was delighted to welcome Northwestern Polytechnical University (NPU) on the 5th October 2018, to formally mark a new Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between our two institutions. NPU specialises in education and research in the fields of aeronautical, astronautical and marine engineering, and has strong research connections with Kent’s School of Engineering and Digital Arts. The MoU formalises this relationship which has been built through successful joint research projects. A joint NPU-Kent research project on a multi-mode brain-computer integrated control technique was selected as part of a China-UK Science and Innovation Forum and Achievements Exhibition in December 2017, which was attended by the Chinese Vice Premier Liu Yandong, Duke of York, Prince Andrew, and other high-ranking representatives.

The MoU will facilitate the exchange of academic and research staff and collaboration in joint research.

We look forward to this partnership between our institutions.
