Kent awarded €1.1million Erasmus grant

The University of Kent is delighted to have received a grant of over €1.1million to support staff and student mobility across Europe, under the Erasmus+ scheme.

Erasmus+ is the European Union programme for education, training, youth and sport. The programme offers exciting opportunities for Kent staff and students to study, work, volunteer, teach and train abroad.

This record-breaking amount of funding will allow Kent to increase participation in 2018-19 across a range of activities. Kent has a long and active engagement with the Erasmus+ programme, ranking in the top 10 of institutions in England sending students on Erasmus+ study placements*. Kent has also been awarded the E-Quality Label for outstanding quality in its Erasmus activities.

We are particularly interested in increasing participation in areas such as staff and postgraduate mobility, PhD placements, summer internships and graduate internships.
