Kent welcomes colleagues from Belarusian State University under Erasmus+ project

Kent was delighted to welcome colleagues from Belarusian State University (BSU)  on a staff training and knowledge building visit in March 2018. The visit marks one year since the launch of an Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility project to support bilateral student and staff mobility between our institutions.

BSU is the oldest and largest university in Belarus with strong research capacity. The Erasmus+ project aims to stimulate international research cooperation; of note, in terms of research collaboration between Kent and BSU, is the COMPASS Project, funded by the Global Challenges Research Fund, Research Councils UK.

One of the project aims is to respond to regional challenges and grow more sustainable communities by developing a new understanding of governance and its constituent parts. The project brings together Kent, University of Cambridge, BSU, Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Dushanbe National University.

We look forward to continued collaboration and the achievements that this will bring.
