‘Global Hangouts – Café’ is a series of free global networking events arranged throughout the academic year. With a fun and relaxed atmosphere, the hangouts’ include interactive activities, refreshments and live music and performances. Upcoming Hangout: The next Hangout is taking place on 25th October and will include “My Hangout” tables, representing different countries & cities across the world, and are being hosted either by our international students from those countries, or by Kent’s returning Go Abroad students who studied/worked in those countries last year. People attending the event will be able to visit the different tables to chat over refreshments and find out about life in different parts of the world. It will be a great chance for attendees to enjoy cultural exchange and international networking opportunity
Opportunity for International Students: We still have space for a few more international students who may wish to host a table at the event. If you are interested in hosting a ‘My Hangout’ table please contact internationalevents@kent.ac.uk by Thursday 19th October. Please note that ‘My Hangout’ table hosts do not need to book a ticket.
Booking tickets: If you wish to attend the Hangout on 25th October, there is still time to book a ticket. However please note that tickets go quickly and are limited to 25 per hangout, so we advise you book early to avoid disappointment. In addition, please remember that there are several Hangouts throughout the year, so if you are unable to book onto this one, you will be able to attend others.
