Discussions are underway regarding collaboration with Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in the area of Philanthropic Studies.
Craig Furneaux from QUT’s Australian Centre on Philanthropy and Nonprofit Studies (ACPNS) recently visited Kent in order to explore opportunities in more detail. Collaboration has developed as a result of links developed by Dr. Beth Breeze, director of the Kent Centre for Philanthropy following a visit to ACPNS in the summer of 2015.
During the visit Beth contributed to lectures, met with leading fundraisers and philanthropists, and developed research plans which have culminated in a jointly authored book chapter on fundraising around the world, with Professor Wendy Scaife, Director of ACPNS.
