Information session on funded collaboration opportunities with Developing or ODA recipient Countries, November 2016
On 24 November Research Services and International Partnerships are planning to run an informal Global Research Opportunities Workshop (GROW) to support colleagues who are planning to apply for funding to work with Developing (or ODA Recipient ) countries.
The event follows on from the information days that we held on the Newton Fund and the Global Challenges Research Fund , but will be an opportunity to discuss your plans with award holders, current applicants and colleagues with considerable experience of working with ODA countries. The workshop also coincides with a visit by five colleagues from Malaysian universities and Ministry of Higher Education, and we are also hoping to host representatives of Universities UK and the Research Councils (TBC).
The workshop will run from 10:00-13:30. It is free and open to all, and will include coffee, tea and lunch. The intention is for it to be informal, and to allow people to talk to – and hear from – colleagues across the University.
