University welcomes delegation from South West University of Political Science and Law

On Thursday 29 September the University welcomed a delegation from South West University of Political Science and Law (SWUPL), led by Chairman Fan Wei, for the signing of the renewed Student Exchange Agreement with Kent Law School.

Chairman Fan Wei was joined by Ms Cen Yingqin, Dean of the School of Marxism, Mr Cao Di, Dean of the School of Political Science and Public Administration, Li Yongcheng, Director of Publicity and Mr Guo Meisong, Director of the International Cooperation and Exchange Office. The University of Kent’s Deputy Vice-Chancellor Mr David Nightingale hosted the visit, alongside colleagues Dr Anthony Manning, Dean for Internationalisation, Hannah McNorton, Director of International Partnerships, Lisa Dickson, Kent Law School Director of Studies and International Programmes, Hazel Lander, Study Abroad and Exchanges Officer and Janie King, International Officer.

SWUPL is one of the oldest political science and law universities in China, and the University of Kent has enjoyed a partnership with the University since 2008. We are very pleased that this relationship continues to thrive as we send and receive students on exchange annually, and we look forward to exploring other areas of collaboration with this prestigious institution in the year ahead.
