On the 15 December, we were pleased to welcome a group of academic and media officials led by Ms Le Thanh Lien and Ms Nguyen Thu Ha from Quoc Anh IEC, Hanoi. The group included Prof Nguyen Xuan Phong, Vice Rector of FPT University Hanoi; Ms Cao Thi Viet Huong, Vice-Rector of Bing Duong University; Mr Mai Van Hieu, Mr Ta Van Thao and Mr Nguyen Xuan Phong of VTV2 Vietnam Television Educational and Scientific Programme Channel. The groups visit to Kent was part of a project to visit 3 universities in the south of England to produce a education programme for Vietnamese TV on the educational experience in the UK.
The group was welcomed by Joanne Ganderton-Smith, Director of the International Office, and James Banner, International Officer, and were able to meet and interview Vietnamese students at Kent, followed by lunch and a tour of the campus and the beautiful city of Canterbury.
