CEWL hosted a special event during Enhancement Week to give students learning languages with us the chance to have a go at calligraphy.
Around 40 students who take World Language modules or Language Express courses took part in the “Let’s Try Calligraphy” event on 26 February.
The event gave them a chance to have a go at writing in Arabic, Mandarin Chinese, Japanese and Russian.

All of the participants enjoyed this cultural experience, supported by some of the University’s native language speaking students.
