Our ambition is to work collaboratively to ignite positive change in our region through culture and creativity. Following a research and development phase, we are now in a position to extend the Forum\u2019s impact, and are therefore seeking a Project Development Manager to work with us to develop an effective strategy and action plan, including the delivery of a high-profile event.<\/p>\n<p>The Project Development Manager will work across the institutions and the complex London and South East region to identify the themes and areas of work that are key priorities for the educational and cultural organisations in the region and the complexities of the diverse communities that we serve.<\/p>\n<p>Cultural Innovation Forum Project Development Manager<\/p>\n<p>We wish to appoint a Cultural Innovation Forum Project Development Manager to work with us to help us to realise our ambition to maximise creative impact, engagement and legacy, and to ensure that diversity is embedded across the Cultural Innovation Forum and its activities.<\/p>\n<p>Utilising the findings from our development phase, they will work with forum members to identify and engage young people, artists, academics, business, funders and other stakeholders in the planning and co-creation of a public conference to launch the forum and inform its future work. In the course of this work, the role will also involve increasing partnership with other HE and FE institutions across the South East to diversify and develop the forum membership, and engaging with Cultural Forum North and East Midlands Higher Education Forum to ensure there is a national as well as regional overview. A key aspect of this role will be the identification of future funding streams, and development of strategies to ensure the sustainability and legacy of CIF activity.<\/p>\n<p>The Project Development Manager will lead and manage all aspects of this exciting project. They will facilitate:<br \/>\n&#8211; dialogues\/events\/research to address key issues facing the Cultural and Creative Sector with<br \/>\na view to working collaboratively to develop innovative solutions and new ways of working;<br \/>\n&#8211; research to provide robust evidence and proof of the social, cultural and economic value of<br \/>\ncreative education;<br \/>\n&#8211; development of thinking and modelling of the role and impact of the Civic University;<br \/>\n&#8211; consideration of what we can do collectively that we cannot do as individual institutions.<\/p>\n<p>Key Tasks<br \/>\n\u00b7 Successfully deliver the Cultural Innovation Forum project within the defined brief,<br \/>\nresources and timeframe.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Establish clear and inclusive partnership and stakeholder arrangements.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Develop new partnerships.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Develop our communications with stakeholders and partners, including through the Cultural Innovation Forum website and a high-profile conference.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Develop strategies for the future financial sustainability and legacy of Cultural Innovation<br \/>\nForum activity, identifying potential new sources of funding, and encouraging the<br \/>\nmainstreaming of the work within partner organisations.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Be an inspirational ambassador for the project, and represent it at local regional, national<br \/>\nand international levels.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Develop clear and effective communication systems and practices that ensure all partners<br \/>\nare fully informed and supported.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Identify and work with partnership organisations and individuals that can broaden access for diverse communities.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Produce a headline evaluation report by the end of the project.<\/p>\n<p>Key Skills and Experience<br \/>\n\u00b7 Proven track record of developing and delivering cultural projects in a complex environment.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Experience of working with or in an academic institution.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Demonstrable experience of establishing and maintaining positive and effective working<br \/>\nrelationships and partnerships across multiple stakeholders.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Understanding of academic research and\/or commercial R&amp;D environments.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Knowledge\/relevant work experience relating to local growth, local government or placefocused policy making.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Experience of preparing and presenting proposals to potential funders and collaborators and<br \/>\nsuccessfully securing investment.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Commitment to delivering equality, diversity and inclusivity.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Understanding of the need to pro-actively recruit partners from diverse communities and<br \/>\ninterests.<br \/>\n\u00b7 High levels of organisation with excellent communication skills.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Ability to work on own initiative and organise workload to achieve deadlines with good time management skills<\/p>\n<p>Timetable and Payment Schedule<br \/>\nDeadline for applications:<\/p>\n<p>12 noon, 27 th November 2020<br \/>\nInterviews if required: Date to be confirmed<br \/>\nContract to commence no later than: Monday 4th January 2021<\/p>\n<p>Fee<br \/>\nThe total fee will be \u00a312,000.<br \/>\nSubmission information<br \/>\nTo apply, please provide the following:<br \/>\n1.
