The University is also hosting a number of exhibitions, including a #BlackLivesMatter Kent Student Protests exhibition to showcase student and staff involvement in the BLM protests over the past few months here in Canterbury, as well as an exhibition about African women in healthcare in tribute to the NHS which has been working extra hard to get us through the COVID-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><strong>Talks<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><strong>Being Black in the World of Tech \u2013 Monday 5th October at 18:00<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Ashleigh Ainsley is a former Google employee and now the co-founder of Colorintech, a non-profit aiming to improve access, awareness and opportunities for ethnic minorities to enter the tech industry. He will be sharing his experiences during this talk.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><strong>Am I Enough? \u2013 Wednesday 14th October 14:00<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Wellbeing coach, Toluwa Oyeleye, will be hosting an online webinar to explore themes of emotional resilience, comparison with others, and running your own race.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><strong>University of Kent Annual Race Equality Lecture \u2013 Thursday 22nd October at 17:00<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Professor Sir Hilary Beckles (VC of the University of the West Indies) will be speaking at this event.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><strong>Film Screenings<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/thegulbenkian.co.uk\/events\/les-miserables-2\/\">Les Mis\u00e9rables<\/a> \u2013 Sat 10 \u2013 Thu 15 Oct (Panel discussion Thu 15 Oct)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>2019 French drama &#8211;
