The Institute of Cultural and Creative Industries is building a Creative Alumni Network in response to the many requests we have received from our students and graduates.
The Creative Alumni Network (CAN) will be intended for all former students of the University of Kent who now either work in the cultural and creative industries, or who may be considering a creative career through their hobbies and interests.
The Creative Alumni Network aims to bring together like-minded graduates from all academic schools at Kent in order to offer a broader range of networking opportunities, reflecting the enormous variety of careers found within the cultural and creative industries.
The Institute of Cultural & Creative Industries at Kent is developing an ambitious vision for creative skills development in the Kent and Medway region. This is part of the university’s wider strategy of investment in cultural and creative industries that will support the growth of the local and regional creative economy.
We want our graduates to be a part of this vision: sharing expertise, learning from specialists, and passing on knowledge and knowhow to our aspiring creative students.
We will be holding our first networking event during our Creative Careers week, week commencing 6 March.
