Victoria Brignall is Manager of European IT Business Management at Enterprise-Rent-A-Car. She has very kindly agreed to speak at our inaugural Inspire Challenge Excel Conference this September.
As Manager of European IT Business Management for Enterprise-Rent-A-Car, Victoria Brignall is responsible for overseeing IT Finance, Contract and Vendor Management across the company’s European operations.
During her 11 years with Enterprise, she has worked in various areas of the business and held seven different roles. Victoria began her Enterprise career on the company’s renowned Management Training Programme. She worked within rental branches in North England during her placement year, while pursuing an IT and Business degree. As a Management Trainee, Victoria was trained on all aspects of Enterprise’s operations, fundamentally gaining experience in how to run a business.
After completing her degree, Victoria returned to Enterprise and was successful in securing an accounting role within the Business Management department in South-East England. Applying a theoretical understanding from her degree and industry experience from her time in rental, Victoria progressed quickly within the accounting team before applying for an IT role at Enterprise’s European Head Office in Egham. This enabled her to gain an understanding of the technical aspects of the business.
Victoria was then promoted to IT Vendor Manager a year later, further adding to the knowledge and skills she developed working across various areas of Enterprise’s operations. This prepared her for her next position just a couple of years on, where she was chosen to establish and head up the IT Business Management team for Europe.
Victoria has written and contributed to a number of articles, providing insight into her career journey and guidance on various areas of career progression. Publications include Forbes, Where Women Work, and Enterprise’s gender diversity magazine, DRIVE.
