On Thursday 17th November, and as part of Global Entrepreneurship Week [1], the Hub took 17 student entrepreneurs to The British Business Show in London. [2] The business show offered a wealth of opportunity, advice and information crucial for the student start-ups.
The student attendees took the opportunity to: listen to the industry’s most innovative and influential figures; attend masterclasses focused on crucial business areas; meet contacts in an intensive programme of speed networking one minute meetings; connect with other like-minded businesses; and present their ideas to a panel of wealthy angels to gain financial backing.
The student entrepreneurs also took advantage of the StartUp Zone. The zone was packed with everything that a young person looking to start their journey into entrepreneurship could need. Here is aspiring entrepreneurs were offered advice, guidance, connections, and opportunities they need to successfully launch their venture.
